Job summary

The post holder will provide day to day operational leadership and management for the team, reporting directly to the Clinical Manager of the service. You don't need previous management experience but must have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and demonstrate NSFT values of positive, respectfully, and together in your attitude. This role offers up to £3,000 welcome bonus for external applicants only and up to £5000 relocation package external applicants only.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the operational management of the service delivery within the service.
Provide visible leadership, promoting a values-based culture and acting as a role model within the environment.
Responsible for leading and managing the team, ensuring they are suitably trained, informed and competent to carry out the full range of their duties, and that mechanisms are in place for regular and effective supervision, appraisal, objective setting, and personal development planning.
Responsibility for ensuring safe staffing levels are maintained according to service budget.
Responsible for ensuring systems are in place to allocate new caseloads and efficient use of resources to ensure caseloads and the management of caseloads remain safe.
Ensure care is delivered in a patient centred framework involving service users, families, and carers.
