Job Description:
The successful candidate will design, implement, and oversee training programs that help employees develop the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively. The role also plays a crucial part in ensuring that new employees feel welcomed and are smoothly integrated into the business, with the aim of improving job satisfaction, retention, and overall performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing Training Programs: designs and develops training programs that are aligned with the organisation's objectives, goals, and values. This may include creating training materials, identifying training methodologies, and selecting appropriate delivery methods.
- Employee Onboarding: manage the onboarding process for new employees. Collect feedback from employees about their experience and use it to find effective ways to improve our company's onboarding process.
- Delivering Training: responsible for delivering training programs through classroom instruction, online courses, and other learning methods. Ensuring that the training is relevant, engaging, and effective.
- Training Compliance: ensure training completion is tracked to confirm all employees are trained in their area of work. Identify training gaps, missed deadlines, and remedy overdue training to ensure that the environment is safe, quality is assured, and employees are properly skilled even when requirements change.
- Evaluating Training Effectiveness: evaluates the effectiveness of training programmes by conducting post-training assessments, analysing performance data, and seeking feedback from participants and stakeholders.
- Management of Training Team: accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities.
- Continuous Improvement: responsible for continuously improving training programmes by incorporating new methods, technologies, and best practices. Staying up to date on industry trends and developments to ensure that training programmes are relevant and effective.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: collaborating with managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programmes are aligned with organisational objectives and goals. Working with employees, the human resources team and management to ensure the achievement of training objectives.
- Recruitment Supplier Audits: support the periodic audit of agency recruitment suppliers to ensure procedural and legislative compliance.
- Community Engagement: support Albert Bartlett's community engagement, including supporting school / college visits.
- Reporting: establish, maintain and timeously report training KPI performance for both Fresh and Added Value businesses.
