This is a hybrid position primarily based in either our Edinburgh or Bristol office. Computershare are currently looking to recruit 2 IT (Information Technology) Project Managers to join our Computershare Technology Services division. We are embarking on an exciting multi-year transformation program to establish the leading digital platforms in the industry that will be deployed globally.

This team has a responsibility for change, including all change initiatives impacting the technical environment, including regulatory, large, and small client change, CTS (Computershare Technology Services) initiated technical change, delivery of technical roadmap initiatives and End of Life / Support change.

A role you will love

This role is supporting the Voyager programme. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the development, delivery, integration and testing of products to fulfil both program and project objectives.

Furthermore, you will ensure that the deliverables meet the required standard of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost, and in alignment with both customer expectations and contractual commitments.

You will be responsible for change management activities required to implement transition plans, technology strategy and solutions.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the planning, implementation and delivery of assigned programs or large-scale projects in relation to time, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Track, monitor and drive the realisation of benefits of project delivery using appropriate metrics and measures.
  • Change management - evaluation of scope and scale of anticipated change, implementation of change and transition plans, and the delivery of technology strategy and solutions.
  • End to end management, implementation, and transitional activities associated with several projects and initiatives.
  • Initiate, lead, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across process and tools within the portfolio management space.

What will you bring to the role?

You will have a good understanding of work routines and procedures used to govern and organise the delivery approach. The role will operate within defined technical and operational procedures, which require proficient knowledge and awareness on how to apply them.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager managing complex implementation projects and programs of work.
  • Understanding and experience in Project Management lifecycle processes, practices, and effective teams.
  • Process driven especially developing and improving and driving discipline and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
  • Strong financial knowledge along with a highly developed understanding of project processes and tools.
  • Elevated levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
  • Using and implementing agile methodologies.
