A multi-award-winning service provider is extending their service offering with the addition of a SOC and to build it and run it, they need a SOC manager!
Working with the CISO you'll be involved from the beginning and play a central role in building the Security Operations Centre, both from a tech perspective and the team that you'll be working with.

You'll be part of a team of experts including, consultants, technical solutions architect, and of course the CISO - all working together to build a successful practice.
Key Responsibilities of the SOC Manager:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring the highest standards of security incident detection, response, and mitigation.
- Lead the team in effectively responding to and managing security incidents, ensuring timely resolution while minimizing impact
- Use deep technical knowledge to manage and optimize SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, ArcSight, DataDog, QRadar), intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewall management, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Mentor and train a team of security analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Design and continuously improve incident management processes to ensure robust cyber resilience
- Communicating complex security issues and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
