The Role
Hi, I'm Theo Reeves, Head of Sales at Motorway. I'm looking for a Senior Strategic Account Manager to join my team. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with key dealer partners, develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges, and help them grow their businesses profitably using Motorway's products and services. You'll also collaborate with internal teams, including product, to share dealer feedback and shape innovative solutions.
About the role
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives of the UK largest dealerships, supporting their profitable growth through the use of Motorway's products and services
- Communicate the Motorway value proposition, tailored to the specific needs of dealerships
- Achieve sales growth targets and secure dealers' commercial commitment to Motorway
- Introduce additional products and services to support dealers sales growth, for example, Motorway Pay and Motorway Move
- Act as the "voice of the dealer" within the business, providing insights to inform both short-term and long-term improvements
- Use data and tailor materials effectively to engage different audiences
- Drive engagement through pipeline management and effective solution prioritisation
- Display "best in class" senior account management routines and practices, balancing short-term responsiveness with long-term strategic focus
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Requirements
About you
- Strong demonstrable experience in senior sales, account management, partnership success, or business development.
- Proven track record of delivering sustained sales growth across partner accounts.
- Expertise in solution selling, pipeline management, and complex corporate account engagement at C-suite/board level.
- Deep product/service understanding and ability to develop expertise.
- Experience leading and working cross-functionally across Operations, Product, Tech, and Specialist teams.
- Ability to provide insightful contributions to internal business priorities.
- Experience in Automotive is beneficial but not essential

- You are seeking a purely strategic role and are not comfortable with operational tasks, as this position requires a hands-on approach for approximately 25-30% of the time.
