The role

Imagination is an industry leader in designing power-efficient and high-performance GPU and CPU technology for graphics and compute. This is an opportunity for you to join a team working in our graph compiler for machine learning models. As part of the AI and Compute team you will also be able to influence development of other tools in our stack, like framework integration layers and compute libraries.

You will:

  • Work within a team of engineers deploying advanced compute and AI libraries and compilers.
  • Get involved in all aspects of the development cycle, from managing requirements, through design, implementation, and testing.
  • Write technical documents describing developed technologies.
  • Help prepare customer facing demonstrations of our compute technology.
  • Work on feature development and software upgrades.

About you

You'll have:

  • Significant commercial C++ experience.
  • Python development experience.
  • Experience working with hardware accelerators such as GPUs or NPUs
  • A good degree in computing, engineering, maths or science.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

You might also have:

  • Parallel programming and optimisation experience with OpenCL, Vulkan or SyCL.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TVM, ONNX, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Knowledge of graph compilation techniques would be nice to have.
  • Knowledge of compiler technology like MLIR is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration, especially Jenkins and Groovy, is a plus.
  • Good communication and the ability to persuade will be useful skills.
