Senior Quantity Surveyor - Walsall
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Location: Walsall
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Midlands. You'll be responsible for financial control, subcontract management, and ensuring value is delivered throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple infrastructure projects.
• Lead subcontract procurement and cost management processes.
• Prepare accurate cost reports, valuations, and project forecasts.
• Ensure NEC contract compliance and resolve commercial issues effectively.
• Support project teams in identifying risk and maximising value opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and construction law.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying (chartered or working towards RICS preferred).
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and reporting skills.
