About the Role:
Our Business and Transformation change business continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join one our vibrant office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar projects role where they have delivered large scale projects, strong technical and business skills and are excellent communicators.
This role is based within the Business Transformation & Change team, comprised of specialists that support the XPS business in Project Management and Project Support. The team is located across the XPS Group national offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be managing medium to large scale projects.
- Identification and delivery of the agreed project scope.
- Setup and maintenance of all project documents (PID, Plan, RAID Log, etc).
- Setup, attendance and leading of required internal and external calls.
- Communication (written and verbal) to internal stakeholders, clients and other 3rd
- The successful completion of the project to agreed milestones and lives dates.
- Tracking and charging of any fees associated with the project delivery
- Working with less experienced Project Managers and/or Project Support Officers to maximise effectiveness and aid career development.
Your Profile:
Essential:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Project Management experience from concept to implementation and post live delivery within large scale projects.
- Experience of technical and business change deliveries.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a multi-disciplined team.
- Positive and proactive approach.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Desirable:
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
- Experience of having worked in the pensions industry
