Join Benoy as a Senior Interior Designer on a 6-month fixed-term basis, taking on a pivotal role in project design and management. As a key contributor, you will craft design strategies and maintain the highest standards in both design and client management. Working with minimal guidance from the Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping innovative and trend-setting design solutions.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will:
Design Expertise:
- Provide fast, creative solutions from concept design to development and presentation with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrate strategic innovation through a deep understanding of trends and insights, translating them into unique design solutions.
- Source references and conduct research to illustrate design directions to clients, collaborating with architects and graphic designers.
- Produce concept work using hand sketches and various digital/traditional media, maintaining high standards.
Project Delivery:
- Ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Independently attend site visits and respond to issues.
- Assemble presentations using a variety of digital and traditional media, especially Adobe InDesign.
- Produce and review drawing packages for Schematic and Detail Stages.
- Lead project communication, liaising with the design & construction team, and record design team or site meetings.
- Produce and verify furniture and finishes schedules.
Team Membership:

- Motivate, inspire, and mentor junior team members.
- Oversee and delegate work appropriately.
Client Relationships:
- Attend client meetings independently or with the support of the Associate Director, leading or contributing to client presentations.
- Maintain a client-facing persona and approach to foster relationships and secure repeat business.
Budget Control:
- Take responsibility for aspects of the project budget, liaising with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
- Develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging, and project finance.
- Consider ways to maximize project fees without jeopardizing client relationships.
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Concept, Schematic, and/or Detailed stages in Interior Design projects.
- Creative thinker with quick concept communication skills.
- Ability to create a concept from a brief, under direction when required.
- Outstanding attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced software skills: Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or alternative 3D packages (e.g., Rhino). Revit would be beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of materials and their application.
- Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to communicate with suppliers.
- Team player with a collaborative work ethic, proactive, and conscientious.
- Keen to learn and develop skills with a genuine interest in design.
