Senior Design Engineer

- Fulfils technical missions, with autonomy to propose/develop complex solutions in a technical domain.
- May have hierarchical or functional responsibilities.
- May provide mentoring, instructions/assistance, helps establish internal procedures and best practices. Work is given through general guidelines.
- In electromechanical & electro technical fields, creates modifies & validates bills of materials and drawings of parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical specifications, customer expectations and supply chain constraints, if needed writing the verification plan and managing its execution.
- Participates in the functional analysis of the study.
- Masters several specific know-how in electromechanical & electro technical field
- Is responsible for assigned complex product design - drawings and BOMs (bill of materials), leading functionally other designers.
- Applies drawing rules, standards, project specifications, industrialisation internal rules, internal processes.
- Proposes and implements improvements (method, tools, product...).
- Manages simulation.
- If needed, manages the execution of verification & validation in laboratories and provides the analysis of results & reports to internal customer.
- Proven, hands-on experience in the specific role
- Mechanical/Engineering degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in English
