Our team spends the majority of their time working on client sites across the UK - and sometimes in Europe.

Our team is responsible for assisting our clients in answering their most challenging problems:

  • How can you leverage the capabilities of Cloud to enable and accelerate business and IT transformation?
  • How can you build and deliver exceptional value while working in an Agile, multi-disciplinary environment?
  • How do we architect and design the best cloud services to enable business growth?

You will help to build robust and scalable cloud platforms that enable teams to deliver modern micro-services based and digital solutions and continuously improve environments through automation and infrastructure-as-code.

You will focus on helping our clients design and implement modern, agile Cloud environments. Responsibilities will include delivering across a broad range of activities from technical and solution architecture design to operations, prototyping, developing and testing (depending on the size of the project and the client needs).

You will be collaborating with cloud thought leaders across disciplines to innovate together contributing to RFP responses and other business development activities and building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Candidates are required to demonstrate skills and experience in some of the following.

Key consulting skills including a number of the following:

  • Strong ability to provide thought-through, clearly articulated, pragmatic solutions and recommendations to complex business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work load, meet project deadlines, and drive results
  • Ability to communicate complex / technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Management of teams and deliverables
  • Vendor/product assessment and selection
  • Assessment of applications for technical suitability for migration to Cloud

Cloud Architecture & Engineering

  • Building Azure solutions with a well-architected mindset focusing on computing, networking, storage, monitoring, and security
  • Establish and enforce security and compliance measures in Azure, including identity and access management (MS Entra), network security and data encryption
  • Container technologies (e.g. Docker, Rocket) and their associated orchestration engines (Kubernetes / OpenShift / Rancher / Swarm)
  • Infrastructure as code development (Terraform, ARM)
  • Running and using Cloud automation tooling including Continuous Integration & Deployment
  • DevOps philosophies and toolchains such as continuous integration and delivery
  • Linux and windows system implementation and management using automation frame works such as Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet, PowerShell etc.
  • Application deployment and testing tool chains such as Jenkins, SVN, GitHub
  • Knowledge of security and performance considerations and approaches for digital systems, and exposure to security and performance testing process
  • Experience helping clients define technical and non-functional requirements
  • Cloud environment design and implementation

We are recruiting to support client demand across industry, however, it is advantageous if the candidate either holds security clearance (T2/T3) or is eligible to undergo security clearance in terms of their flexibility to support the broadest range of future demand.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). As well as remote working, you'll attend your local office, virtual collaboration spaces and client sites, depending on the requirements of the role.
