About the Role
Are you a skilled Civil Technician with a passion for precision, collaboration, and innovation? GHD is seeking a Senior Civil Technician to join our dynamic team in the UK. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality engineering design documentation across a wide range of infrastructure projects.

You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure that every project is delivered to the highest standards - on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and high-quality engineering design documentation in line with GHD and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop the best solutions for clients.
• Manage your workload to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
• Apply a strong understanding of HSEQ principles, including CDM regulations.
• Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including:
  • Surface modelling
  • Pipe networks
  • Corridor modelling
  • Cut and fill
  • Profiles and grading
• Familiarity with other Autodesk Design Suite tools; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and BIM systems.
• Strong understanding of relevant client and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Achieved or working towards EngTech accreditation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive approach to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members.
