Hybrid, £40-£45k Basic + commission (OTE £70K)

Requirements
About the Role
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of Captive Review's commercial strategy, responsible for managing and growing key client accounts within the insurance sector. This role is essential in driving revenue through advertising and sponsorship sales, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring our clients achieve their marketing and brand visibility objectives.
We're seeking a highly motivated and consultative sales professional who can build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored advertising solutions that align with our industry-leading publication's audience and reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to enhance brand presence and deliver advertising solutions.
- Drive new business by identifying and approaching potential clients within the insurance and captive sectors.
- Develop compelling proposals that attract advertisers and grow sponsorship revenue.
- Meet and exceed sales targets across digital and print advertising, sponsorships, and events.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to proactively identify opportunities and provide strategic insights.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to align sales efforts with content and audience engagement strategies.
Who you are
You are a friendly, driven and ambitious sales professional experienced in B2B media and a talent for building strong client relationships. You thrive in fast-paced environments, leveraging your strategic mindset and consultative sales approach to create tailored advertising solutions. With excellent communication and negotiation skills, you are confident engaging with senior decision-makers and identifying new revenue opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience in B2B media, publishing, or events, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong ability to build relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- A consultative and strategic approach to sales, understanding client needs and aligning them with effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to represent Captive Review at events and industry gatherings.
- Easy travel access to Central London and Bromley office as and when required.
