Job Description
Fastmarkets is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Revenue Operations Manager to join the Revenue Operations team. This person will partner with senior leaders across the Revenue Organization, with specialty focus in supporting the Events business. You will be a trusted and fully engaged advisor, focused on business operational activities, strategic planning, GTM optimization, and you will be relentless in your pursuit of assessing revenue opportunities. This is a high visibility, high impact role, with rapidly changing priorities. This role requires a high degree of both technical and commercial acumen. You will report to the Director of Commercial Operations and benefit from the full support of that team, with a dotted line to the Managing Director Events.
The ideal candidate has strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and a history of driving results. Most importantly, the candidate will drive, through strong relationships and excellent communication, alignment across stakeholders to execute key initiatives.
Role Purpose
To streamline revenue-generating processes across events marketing, sponsorship, and delegate acquisition. Aligning sales and marketing to help drive revenue growth, improve forecasting and optimise end to end performance across the event lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Revenue Strategies: Create and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and increase profitability for the Fastmarkets Events business.
- Revenue Stream Management: Oversee and monitor all revenue streams, including sales, delegate acquisition, partnerships, and other business activities.
- Data Analysis and Decision Making: Utilize data to understand patterns and trends, making data-driven decisions to optimize revenue operations.
- Dashboards: Develop automated dashboards and reports to track sales productivity and key revenue KPIs (lead to conversion, new business growth and conversion, AOV etc)
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align all operations towards revenue generation.
- KPI Development and Monitoring: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of revenue operations.
- Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management to support business goals.
- CRM System Utilization: Implement and utilize CRM systems for sales reporting and forecasting.
- Sales Efficiency - work to make all commercial roles more efficient and effective through automation and AI adoption
- Customer Retention Strategies: Coordinate and manage strategies to retain customers and enhance their experience.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, presenting revenue reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Reporting & Analytics: Deliver executive-ready insights to support pricing, campaign planning, and customer acquisition

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.
- Minimum 4 years in Revenue or Sales Operations, preferably in PRA, Financial Services, Fintech, Technology, or B2B sectors.
- Proficiency in using and optimizing Revenue software tools such as Salesforce and various sales and marketing automation platforms.
- Skilled in operational management, including resource allocation, task scheduling, and workflow oversight.
- Solid background in managing sales pipelines and applying different forecasting techniques.
- Capable of executing Quarterly Business Reviews with the sales team.
- Experienced in creating advanced dashboards and reports and maintaining data cleanliness.
- Familiarity with sales process methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, and BANT.
- Proficient in Excel, including the use of xlookup, vlookup functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and other advanced features.
- Proficient in Salesforce reporting and strong understanding of relational databases
- Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach to tasks.
