What you'll be doing

As a Building Surveyor / Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of capital projects within the UK Permanent Estate (10-20 projects per year, combined values up to £5m).
  • Draft and issue project briefs, set up and manage JCT D&B contracts.
  • Coordinate contractors and internal teams for successful project delivery.
  • Oversee budgets, review and advise on variations, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Who we're looking for

  • 1-3 years' experience in Cat B commercial property fit out (offices/warehouses) and dilapidations.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, relationship, and negotiation skills.
  • Degree (or final year with expected 2:1) in building surveying or project management.
  • Understanding of CDM; AutoCAD and APM qualification advantageous (support provided).
  • Full clean driving licence (UK travel required).
