About the Role We're on the hunt for a heavyweight Project Manager with a solid background in heavy civil engineering and a sharp eye for programme delivery, safety, and commercial outcomes. You'll be steering multi-disciplinary teams across high-stakes environments-think rail corridors, water treatment works, urban utilities-so cool-headed confidence is essential.
If you thrive under NEC forms of contract, know your way around Primavera P6 like it's a morning commute, and can manage subbies with grace and grit-read on.
Must-Have Experience
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in Heavy Civils, Rail, Water or Utilities
- Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor accreditation
- Primavera P6 for programme management and short-term look-aheads
- Strong grasp of NEC3 / NEC4 contract administration
- Robust subcontractor management capability
- Comfortable in live, high-risk environments-safety first, always
Desired Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Experience
- Worked on Thames Water frameworks or projects
- Experience in live Rail environments (Network Rail or London Underground)
- NRSWA knowledge or certification
- Lifting AP (Appointed Person) trained
