CRM Marketing Manager

Salary: £40k - 55k + excellent benefits

Full time, hybrid working.

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead a small marketing function in a player-manager capacity. You will take ownership of developing and executing centrally run B2B marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads for the sales team and driving new business from existing clients. This is a hands-on role where you'll deliver high-impact campaigns, develop strategic customer marketing initiatives, and be instrumental in growing our brand reputation.

You will be responsible for leveraging HubSpot to its full potential and working closely with sales to ensure seamless sales enablement. Initially, you will manage a digital marketing apprentice, who will support you with social media, website updates, and recurring campaigns, allowing you to focus on high-impact activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer ready to step into a leadership role and play a pivotal part in LDN's commercial success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, develop, and execute B2B lead generation campaigns using HubSpot, with a focus on generating new business and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Develop in depth knowledge of both the apprenticeship market and LDN's target / existing customers and combine this with excellent knowledge of LDN's products and the benefits that they deliver for our customers.
  • Lead customer marketing initiatives aimed at increasing Average Order Value (AOV) from existing clients by building brand reputation, driving new sales, and ensuring sustained customer growth.
  • Maximise the effectiveness of HubSpot, including implementing lead nurturing strategies, data management, and automating marketing efforts to support sales enablement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure they are well-equipped with marketing materials, training, and insights to convert leads into customers and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop an Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy which clearly identifies high priority accounts (to include both prospective and existing customers) and use this to coordinate efforts across leadership, sales and marketing to win / grow these accounts.
  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimise performance and improve ROI.
  • Manage and mentor a digital marketing apprentice, ensuring they are effectively supporting day-to-day marketing tasks like social media posts, website updates, and recurring content creation.

For this role you must have:

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the Apprenticeships, Edtech, or government-funded skills sector.
  • Demonstrable experience with HubSpot, including lead management, automation, campaign tracking, and sales enablement.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful B2B campaigns, from ideation through to execution and analysis.
  • Experience or strong capability in training and working with sales teams to help them leverage marketing campaigns and tools effectively.
  • Experience in managing or mentoring junior marketing team members; ready to step into a leadership role.
  • Confidence in analysing data and making data-driven decisions to optimise marketing performance and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, SEO, social media, and content marketing.
  • Ability to balance tactical campaign execution with longer-term strategic planning to support overall business objectives.
  • Experience or familiarity with the apprenticeships, government-funded skills, or Edtech sector is highly beneficial.
  • Highly collaborative and able to successfully work with teams across the business.
