The Product Management team drives the global development of product definition and strategic planning to optimize the company's handheld device products and AI-driven solutions. This team applies a comprehensive understanding of the company's product and solution capabilities alongside an in-depth knowledge of global market trends and the competitive environment. The team identifies new growth areas, emerging technologies, and product opportunities to drive global business expansion and innovation.

The team is responsible for analyzing key global market statistics, customer requirements, and industry trends to define forward-looking product strategies. It identifies opportunities to expand market share by leveraging existing product capabilities while exploring new business opportunities and developing cutting-edge solutions.

This role goes beyond traditional product management by showcasing innovation, and contributing to global business growth.

The Principal Product Manager will drive strategies to expand the company's handheld device portfolio globally while continuously seeking out new avenues for business development and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global strategy for handheld device products, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market needs across multiple regions and industries.
  • Drive the expansion of existing products into new global markets while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to strengthen the company's competitive edge.
  • Demonstrate expertise to enhance product offerings, ensuring the delivery of intelligent, innovative solutions that align with global market demands.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to incorporate AI components into handheld device products, ensuring the development of forward-thinking and competitive solutions.
  • Monitor advancements in AI and handheld technologies to anticipate market needs and position the company as a leader in innovative product offerings.
  • Oversee the life cycle management of handheld device products, including new product launches, product optimizations, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Establish and manage pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, while balancing global market competitiveness.
  • Conduct in-depth global market analysis and customer requirement evaluations to identify growth opportunities and inform product strategies.
  • Lead business case development for new and existing products by analyzing competitive landscapes, emerging technologies, and global customer needs.
  • Stay ahead of competitors by continuously reviewing the global competitive environment for handheld devices and AI-driven solutions.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Marketing Communications to develop global product promotion programs, ensuring accurate positioning and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, operations, and support, to align product development and business objectives.
  • Actively support the global sales organization by participating in select sales presentations, proposals, and strategic opportunities.
  • Manage forecasting, supply chain planning, and resolution of operational challenges, including component obsolescence, yield issues, and product transitions.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiencies in partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring product profitability and sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (Engineering/ Product Management)
  • 12+ years of experience in product management
  • Demonstrated experience in global business expansion and managing handheld device products
  • Exceptional ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while driving the global growth of existing product lines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to senior management and stakeholders across diverse global markets.
  • Advanced understanding of financial concepts, including P&L, balance sheets, and ROI models, with experience delivering products aligned with financial objectives.
  • Expertise in global market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements for handheld devices and AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex global programs and product portfolios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel globally to meet customers, partners, and regional teams, as well as attend seminars, trade shows, and strategic meetings.
  • Proven track record of integrating AI components into product offerings is a plus
