Performance Account Manager

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

The opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Performance Marketing - Account Manager to join our team of Digital Marketing specialists.

You will work across a variety of B2B and B2C brands, which helps keep things fresh and fun, and offers ample opportunity for growth by gaining experience across multiple verticals and specialisms.

Our Performance Marketing teams are known for their 360 degree understanding of the digital landscape, from PPC and SEO, to Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Conversion Rate Optimisation.

The role offers a blend of creativity, analytics, project management as well as client and team leadership, so no day is the same.

A strong candidate will have proven experience in a hands-on client-facing role and will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of at least SEO and PPC (other paid media channels desirable).

You should be comfortable analysing campaign performance data and developing strategic recommendations off the back of it.

The role is client-facing, so we're looking for someone who enjoys the campaign build and activation side as much as building client relationships and rapport.

How you'd spend your day

  • Developing Organic and Paid Media tactical plans backed by research, data analysis and best practices.
  • Leading clients and colleagues in the execution of campaigns, from SEO content and technical on-site optimisation to paid media campaigns' setup, ad copywriting, targeting optimisation and budget management.
  • Analysing campaign performance data via tools such as Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, SEMrush, Excel and individual ad platform tools
  • Working across both B2B and B2C brands.
  • Line-managing and mentoring a junior Exec (not at the start, but desirable in the mid to long-term).
  • Preparing performance reports and PowerPoint presentations to showcase our work and results to clients.
  • Communicating with clients on weekly stand-up calls, monthly in-person catch-ups and quarterly business reviews.

What we're looking for

  • Prior experience in a similar role, either Paid Search or SEO is essential, and experience with more media channels is desirable.
  • Experience working B2B is highly desirable.
  • Confident in building relationships with and presenting to clients.
  • Comfortable analysing data and drawing strategic recommendations.
  • Enjoys working with others in a collaboration-driven environment.
  • Keen to take on ownership of projects and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to formulate tactical plans and strategies for your campaigns with some level of autonomy.
  • You're a self-starter and eager to learn. You identify with a growth mindset and don't shy away from working with multiple clients and owning various responsibilities.
