A Day in the Life

As People Manager, you will support the design and delivery of key People processes and initiatives to enhance and elevate the employee journey. You will implement and support the employee lifecycle, ensuring policies are effective, clear and aligned to the business. You will be a trusted partner to our Managers, providing guidance and support as necessary.

The People Manager will also collaborate with the wider people team to leverage data driven insights to implement high quality solutions that make a difference.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in the People function, ideally in a standalone capacity or as part of a small team in a fast paced environment, with a solid foundation in HR processes and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver pragmatic, impactful people solutions that balance systematic approaches with a people-first perspective, effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong impact and influence skills, with the ability to engage and influence managers and stakeholders across and beyond the organisation.
  • Skilled in coaching and collaboration, working closely with both business and colleagues in the People teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear and concise style.
  • Track record of providing accurate and insightful data analytics to inform decision-making.

Key Accountabilities

  • Enhance people processes, policies, and solutions using industry insights and best practices.
  • Manage the full employee life cycle from onboarding, performance, and offboarding processes efficiently.
  • Partner with managers to align People initiatives with team and organisational goals, offering expert guidance.
  • Lead medium-sized projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Analyse people data to identify improvements, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Advise on total rewards and market benchmarking.
  • Support workplace culture initiatives, including DEI, engagement, and satisfaction programs.
  • Mentor junior team members to strengthen their skills and business acumen.
