Key Responsibilities:

• Provide input to and lead the implementation of planning strategy to ensure a seamless supply chain and operational model that aligns with targeted business volumes.
• Plan, control, and oversee daily transport operations to meet customer service, quality, and financial objectives across multiple sites.
• Monitor and adjust operational capacities in response to changes in business volumes and requirements, ensuring profitable service delivery.
• Contribute to identifying new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and supporting business development through comprehensive business case preparation and review.
• Develop and monitor operating processes, site infrastructure, equipment, IT systems, and organizational structure to achieve targeted capacities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local statutory obligations related to safety, health, security, environment, and quality.
• Identify opportunities for best-in-class operational practices, focusing on continuous improvement and enhanced productivity.
• Manage team performance through target development and training plans.
• Collaborate to define operations strategy that aligns with business goals and corporate policies.
• Support the development and implementation of large-scale projects and partnerships that significantly impact our operations.
• Foster a collaborative environment with sales and customer service teams to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Handle issue escalation effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a complex large scale transport planning role is essential.
• Controlling and integrating planning of new business growth into new and existing networks
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Deep knowledge of Transport Management systems.
• Customer centric approach.
• Ability to partner on development of new businesses.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Need to be able to demonstrate financial management.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining focus on objectives is crucial.
