Working 37.5 hours a week, you will ensure that the Projects are well-governed, risk-managed and delivered against a defined set of requirements. You will also be ensuring that the benefits and outcomes are realised and communicated to the stakeholders.
As you lead Elysium's IT infrastructure, you will monitor and report on projects performance, progress, status, risks, you will manage budget, resources and dependencies.
You will need a full and clean UK driving licence as you will be required to travel to services across England and Wales.
Other responsibilities:
- Work with the relevant stakeholders across the department and wider business to clearly identify the scope of all projects, producing robust and professional project documentation in line with our Project Management Framework and guidelines.
- Engage with relevant 3rd party suppliers for suitable solutions to project requirements and to work within the guidelines and framework of our standard Corporate Procurement process.
- Work closely with Elysium IT department's Projects Governance Team to ensure project information is provided on time for consolidated departmental reports.
- Develop effective relationships with colleagues across Elysium Healthcare. Develop and maintain close working relationships with the IT support teams, managers and senior business contacts.
- Work closely with Programme Managers and Portfolio Managers within the department to help with issues escalation and also to help balance the use of resources across the department.
- Ensure all projects are successfully transitioned into our Business As Usual support functions, liaising with all appropriate stakeholders in doing so.
- Build relationships with staff within the IT department and the wider business to help facilitate successful change that your projects will provide.
- Co-ordinate functional user acceptance and performance testing of all solutions to demonstrate they are fit for purpose before implementation.
- Perform post project reviews analysing whether the expected benefits of the projects have been realised and to ensure lessons learned are recorded and utilised across the team to enable continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in project and / or programme management within the technology sector.
- Experience in delivering multiple technology based projects simultaneously.
- A track record of delivering IT Infrastructure change projects within (but not limited to) the follow areas:
- Modern Desktop / EUC.
- Cloud Platform and collaboration services, especially Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365.
- Network Change Projects eg. Firewalls, Wifi, CCTV, SD WAN, SASE.
- Legacy Infrastructure modernisation and upgrades.
- Ability to manage, lead, motivate a project team to provide guidance to team members and create an effective team working towards common goals.
- A strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices, and the ability to apply them in a complex and dynamic environment. Experience working to Waterfall / Prince2 and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with a variety of Project Management software planning systems as well as familiarity with PPM tools used to capture all project related information across multiple projects.
- A proven track record of delivering successful Projects based on technology-enabled change that meet the expectations of the organization and the stakeholders.
- Experience managing Projects with various budget availability.
- Experience in tracking projects costs against budgets and including this in reporting updates.
