Head of Supply Chain UK

Location: Bridgend or Bolton (With Regular Travel to Bridgend).

As Head of Supply Chain for the UK, reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, Business Unit Consumer, you will lead and improve the country's supply chain organisation, service levels, productivity, and processes for the Consumer division across the entire value chain.

You will be a member of the UK Business Delivery Team, contributing to strategic planning and making key business decisions for the UK Consumer business.

Serving as the supply chain connection to customers, you will play a key role in retaining and enhancing our number one service level. You will oversee the customer service, warehouse, and planning teams across our Bolton office and manufacturing site in Bridgend

Responsibilities Include:

  • Running the UK Consumer Supply Chain organisation with a focus on performance improvement.
  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies for the UK market.
  • Managing supply chain budgets, achieving stretch goals, and negotiating with logistics partners.
  • Production planning and scheduling for the paper machine and converting operations in UK Consumer plants.
  • Supporting SC development through pilot projects and innovative inputs.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and customers to develop and execute effective models.
  • Contributing to strategic decisions related to investments, plant developments, and operational models.

Your Profile:

  • Dynamic and results-oriented professional with extensive supply chain management experience, ideally in the paper industry.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a flexible approach to working in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing logistics strategies to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong project management expertise, with proficiency in IT-based expert systems and MS Office.
  • Experience in managing supply chain budgets, achieving stretch goals, and negotiating with logistics partners.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 45001 certification, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborative leader, capable of working with cross-functional teams to drive innovative supply chain solutions.
  • Committed to operational excellence, customer service, and effective supply chain management.
