Our 'Head of People and Culture' is a pivotal leader in enabling our culture as we scale and will support across multiple areas including Leadership & Development, Training programs, Recruitment, Incentivisation and People Processes.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Leadership Development and Culture: Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement by developing and implementing leadership development programs that align with TeamFeePay's mission and values.
  • Talent Development and Training: Oversee the design and delivery of comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Culture Cultivation and Engagement: Create and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, well-being, and a sense of belonging.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Ensure the attraction and hiring of top talent by developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies. Manage employee performance, provide feedback, and support career development.
  • HR Operations and Compliance: Manage all HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits, and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement leadership development programs that align with TeamFeePay's strategic goals.
  • Design and deliver training programs on various topics, such as technical skills, soft skills, and industry trends.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through initiatives such as employee recognition, team-building activities, and diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Implement performance management systems and career development plans.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

General

  • The key responsibilities above give a broad outline of the functions of the post. However, these duties must be approached in a flexible manner. The post holder will be expected to adapt to changing circumstances and undertake other duties appropriate to the post as allocated by your line manager to deliver TeamFeePay's mission, vision, and goals. The outline of responsibilities may change from time to time. Tech Start Ups are subject to ongoing and quick change, and the post holder must be able to adapt in these circumstances.
  • Adhere to existing work practices, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
  • Demonstrate their commitment to TeamFeePay by their regular attendance and the efficient completion of all tasks allocated to them.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and performance management meetings.
  • Work with information technology and associated systems in accordance with TeamFeePay Policies and Procedures.
  • Comply with relevant health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures, in the post's duties.
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines.
  • Members of staff are expected to treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the Dignity at Work Procedure.
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities of the post in compliance with TeamFeePay's Equal opportunities policies.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Certification in Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.), bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and labour laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and implementing leadership development programs.
  • Experience with talent acquisition and management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desirable criteria

  • Master's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Experience with HR technology and systems.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement and well-being strategies.
