Head of Existing Installations

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Existing Installations, this is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director with extensive industry experience to join the existing installations Team, based out of our Addlestone Office in Surrey. They will be responsible for identifying EI customer needs, defining our sales strategies, managing the EI product and its fulfilment to achieve EI objectives for customer satisfaction, growth, efficiency and profit.The successsful candidate will be working in close collaboration with the respective Group EI Sales and Fulfilment teams and KG Field Operations organisation to help branches achieve targets, deliver the strategy, product, process and tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver sustainable, profitable growth without compromising customer excellence
  • Coordinate with zone and branch managers to analyse and interpret results and agree remedial actions where necessary
  • Defend the EI revenue base by formulating and implementing a local vision and strategy in alignment with KG objectives
  • Formulate and implement a local strategy consistent with KG objectives in portfolio retention, growth and profitability
  • Define target market and strategy to achieve portfolio retention and growth targets
  • Develop and execute portfolio models to secure and grow EI business
  • Achieve the KG vision (and Schindler strategy) of being the preferred choice for customers
  • Personally establish productive, professional relationships with key people in strategic markets and client organisations
  • Develop, embed and monitor value-add initiatives to grow customer loyalty and alignment
  • Systematically analyse customer feedback and act to improve NPS
  • Provide and execute the best-in-class processes and systems to build sustainable business growth and optimise business efficiency
  • Ensure all EI-related policies and procedures are current, but also fit-for-purpose and compliant
  • Manage cross functional relationships to set and execute process and quality adherence metrics
  • Support audit programmes to continuously improve compliance
  • Maintain clarity regarding structure, roles, responsibilities and standards so employees understand their role in business success
  • Create a team-first culture with clear performance management and succession planning
  • Contribute to team development - coaching others and actively encouraging personal development in order to build organisational capability
  • All employees are required to work in accordance with established Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and Schindler Core Values to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements and Schindler Group Safety requirements.Employees are required to attend all relevant Training Sessions
  • Employees are required to carry out all works in accordance with the Company's Quality Corporate Policy.
  • Employees will be required to contribute to the Company's Safety Objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to its Safety Management System

Candidate Requirements:

  • Five years' experience managing a business environment or senior executive level roles in vertical transport or building services industry
  • Demonstrable Proven track record in leading teams
  • Demonstrable record of identifying new business and developing pipeline.
  • A degree or diploma in any engineering or business-related discipline and/or Master of Business (MBA) from a recognised institution
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, with customer service etiquette
  • Leadership skills to build, direct and develop a skilled and a collaborative team
  • Excellent time management, planning and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • A change driver and manager with the right balance of team care and emotional intelligence
  • Strong business acumen, ability to solve complex issues, exercise sound judgement and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Ambition (both technical and leadership)
