About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Head of EU Research Funding, with significant expertise in EU funding to join the Research Development team at NTU. They will be someone who is genuinely interested in research, understands thevalue and challengesof multidisciplinary approaches, and the importance of delivering impactbeyond academia. The successful candidate will be someone who quickly assimilates new information and intelligence, makes intelligent linkages between different people, projects and opportunities, and has the tenacityand organisational skillsto work with our researchers and their collaborators to develop clear, detailed, coherent project proposals. We anticipate that the majority of the role holder's time will be focused on Horizon Europe fundings streams, but where there are cross-overs with other related funding streams, there will also be opportunities to work with colleagues and collaborators to develop large, strategic bids with other funders, for example, CDTs, Research England E3 or UKRI Centres.
