We are looking to offer an Group FP&A Manager the opportunity to join our expanding Group Finance team based in Stevenage.
About the team
The Group FP&A team is responsible for board reporting, budgeting & forecasting and investor reporting outputs for the group, working closely with senior executives.
About the role
As the Group FP&A Manager you will report to the Head of Group FP&A and lead across all board reporting activities including flash, private equity and full board reporting.
The Group FP&A team are typically in the office 3 days a week and work flexibly where needed.

As the Group FP&A Manager you'll get the opportunity to:
- Own the monthly board reporting process, working with senior executives and divisional finance directors.
- Drive improvements to existing processes by through systemisation and additional insight.
- Lead all private equity reporting, providing key insight into Group performance and answering queries as required.
- Prepare board presentations and papers as required.
- Undertake detailed financial analysis using advanced excel and modelling skills to provide business insight to the executive and enable the Group to meet its objectives.
- Support with the development and measurement of the Group's KPIs.
- Support the development of functional reporting in Oracle, driving improved insight into the Group's cost base.
- Support the development and improvement of the FP&A function by identifying and driving additional opportunities to provide additional insight.
- Support the Divisional FP&A teams to improve data quality and analysis.
What you'll bring?
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with several years experience working in an FP&A role.
- Strong experience of financial modelling, board reporting.
- Experience of business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Advanced financial modelling and excel skills.
- Strong systems experience. Experience of PBCS (Oracle) desirable.
- Strong presentational skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Committed team player with a proven ability to hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- The ability to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with appropriate impact and influence.
