  • Lead efforts to meet volume, sales growth, and customer profit contribution goals while building lasting partnerships.
  • Develop and implement thoughtful, customer-centric account plans to ensure business retention and growth, with a focus on technical support and product innovations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage customer's costs and deliver tailored account strategies that provide superior service and technical solutions.
  • Analyse customer adhesive potential and stay attuned to competitor activities, leveraging insights to offer the best solutions.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers while negotiating favourable pricing and contract terms. Implement strategies that secure long-term business partnerships.
  • Be part of an international team and coordinate all internal functions with customer teams potentially involving training in Germany at Henkel HQ.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM (ACE-SAP) documentation to ensure seamless communication and understanding of customer needs.
  • Offer practical technical knowledge for all markets in the territory, helping customers understand the full potential of our products.
  • Design and manage account plans that align with broader market strategies and objectives.
  • Be the go-to person for customer needs, using relationship management tools to anticipate trends and build detailed customer profiles.
  • Take responsibility for the T&E (Travel & Entertainment) budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Plan customer visits and travel to maximize time spent with clients and improve productivity.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the furniture and building industry, with a passion for building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset, focused on finding mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail to assess market conditions and customer needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (ACE-SAP preferred) and sales processes, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Technical knowledge of adhesives or similar products is an advantage, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential
  • A willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  • An interest in how things are manufactured and supporting customers with on-site advice
