We havean exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join our highly regarded Employmentteam in London on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Youwould be joining one of the largest Employment teams in the UK, with theopportunity to provide advice on aspects of contentious and non-contentiousemployment law both nationwide and internationally. This particular role wouldrequire significant experience in working on corporate transactions,particularly those with a private equity focus. Thepractice

Osborne Clarke's London employment practicerepresents leading national and global corporates, providing a mix ofhigh-level strategic advice, day-to-day support and representation incontentious settings.

The team provide a full service to clients includingadvice on HR support matters, employee disputes, Business Immigration, TUPE andgeneral transactional advice, both in the UK and managing projectsinternationally

Although the practice is comprehensive, the Londonteam have been especially focused in recent times with cross-border mandates, privateequity, restrictive covenant work, reputational risk management and dataprivacy. Our reputation is particularly strong within Corporate Mergers &Acquisitions, an area we are looking to continue to expand with this role.

We have extensive experience in European employmentlaw matters (being able to call on lawyers in our offices in nine otherjurisdictions), allowing us to represent truly international clients.

We work for a fantastic range of leading clientssuch as Vodafone, Nomura, InfraRed, Eurostar, United Airlines, ColtCommunications, Docusign and Standard Chartered Bank. It's an exciting time forthe team having recently celebrated a major client win, adding Diageo to theirimpressive client base.

Theteam

The London team is led by partners David Cubitt and VictoriaParry. They work closely across offices with colleagues in Reading and Bristol,and overall the department is made up of 7 further Partners, 3 Legal Directors,5 Associate Directors, 7 Senior Associates, 12 Associates, 2 Trainee Solicitors,3 Solicitor Apprentices, 2 Paralegalsand 1 Paralegal Manager.

Technical skills andexperience

Due tothe technical nature of the practice, we are looking for evidence of experienceof working on a range of complex corporate matters in the private equitysphere. Experience acting for privateequity houses is essential. As a guide,due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, we are looking toappoint an Associate Director in this area, although we will considercandidates with more or less experience.
