Our HR Consulting offering consistently innovates and drives HR and Workforce Transformation for some of the largest organisations and well-known global brands. In HR Consulting, you will be joining a rapidly growing part of the business that partners with our clients to help them with HR Transformation and transitioning to the Future of Work. This could be building a new people and workforce strategy, employee brand, employee value proposition, implementing a new HR operating model, redesigning end to end talent processes, development and capability pathways and everything in between.
As a Director you will play a key role in leading, growing and shaping our rapidly growing HR Consulting practice. You will take a lead role in shaping the strategic development of the team, fostering a sense of community, as we continue building the business in the market.
You will also have the commercial experience necessary to build significant new business opportunities for the Firm - focused on the development of senior client relationships across the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Sector.
In doing so, you will bring expert HR technical expertise to develop thought leadership and eminence in the marketplace that gives you the platform to support the Firm's growth ambitions over the long-term.
As a Director - Types of responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
• Work closely with the existing leadership teams to provide leadership, direction and management of the practice
• Shape and implement both People Strategy (Future of Work), and HR Strategy (including operating models) within large scale complex organisations or government departments
• Bring a range of world class technical HR consulting skills and thought leadership to the practice and market e.g. Talent, Recruitment, Learning, Reward;
• Use your long-standing, trust-based relationships with senior clients in the private sector to build opportunity and eminence in the market
• Build, cultivate and own a set of senior industry client and partner relationships
• Lead the delivery of complex and high-profile workforce and HR transformation programmes for clients
• Be present in the market, bringing a distinctive voice and differentiated points of views to relevant client issues, reflecting industry and technology trends
• Cultivate client relationships and engage with senior stakeholders on a range of workforce and HR activities
• Manage project delivery, risks and financials
• Lead business development and bid activities
• Play a lead role in the HR Consulting community and act as being the point of contact for relevant client accounts

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm). Our hybrid working policy
You'll be based in either London, Manchester or Birmingham with hybrid working.
