This is more than just a strategy role; it's your chance to drive AXA's AI revolution. As a key member of our Data Strategy and Culture team you'll be a catalyst for our data and AI ambitions, being a vital part in designing and executing our future roadmap. Working across teams and with senior leaders, your insights will influence how AXA leverages AI to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer experience, keeping us ahead of industry trends and technological breakthroughs.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you'll be doing:
• Develop, execute and monitor AXA UK&I's Data and AI Strategy, ensuring it stays aligned with our wider ambitions and industry shifts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across our Health, Retail and Commercial business units to identify, develop, and manage a pipeline of impactful use cases that demonstrate AI's potential across our business.
• Partner with data and technology stakeholders to ensure a strategic approach to how we evolve our underpinning technology, platform and governance to deliver our AI vision.
• Identify and communicate industry trends, disruptions, and technological advances that affect our business, translating them into strategic opportunities that ensure AXA remains a market leader.
• Champion a data-driven culture, helping teams see the value of Data and AI in everyday decision making and business operations.
• Explore innovative ways of working, operating models, and processes that support our evolving data landscape and future growth.

What you'll bring:
• Proven strategic thinking with a background in developing or delivering data and AI initiatives, preferably within insurance or analytics environments.
• Demonstrable influencing skills with a track record in collaborating with technical experts and business leaders to tease out business needs and build consensus.
• An analytical mindset with practical experience in assessing complex business needs, identifying solutions, and evaluating options.
• A forward-thinking attitude with a strong awareness of Data and AI trends and the ability to translate insights into strategic actions.
• Cross-cutting data knowledge with a broad understanding of data platforms, governance, processes, and their impact on delivering an effective Data and AI strategy.
• Change management skills with a familiarity of guiding groups through transformation by building stakeholder support, fostering adoption, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Proactive problem solving with a passion to drive Data and AI related change across people, process and technology.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
