This role is primarily based at Balfour Beatty Shotts with travel required to other Balfour Beatty sites across Scotland and North of England.
What you'll be doing
To take lead for the BBATS on major projects being delivered by Balfour Beatty with particular focus on Skype OHL, ASTI, NZT, A9, Netherton projects, engaging with customers to develop a strategy to maximise the opportunities for the individual BBATS businesses and then overseeing the delivery of the works meeting and exceeding customers expectations.
- Form relationships with customers and being visible across their sites, solving problems and supporting the mobilisation of solutions
- Formulate and agree delivery strategy with BBATS senior management to ensure that this is cost effective to all stakeholders
- Develop 12 month lookahead forecasts for up-and-coming projects highlighted from ATS portfolio
- Report progress and performance of the projects life cycle in regular management meetings with formal reporting that will include commercial and risk reviews
Who we're looking for
- The ability to communicate effectively is required to manage customer relationships, in addition to strong planning and organisation skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency
- Strong leadership skills
- Financial awareness is required to deliver targets
- Strong commercial acumen always looking for opportunities
- Appropriate and valid CSCS card
- IT literate - reporting, Microsoft package
