Creative Services Traffic Manager

This role is pivotal to the day to day running of the creative and studio team workload and output for a new retail client. You will be an enthusiastic problem solver who thrives on being involved at all levels of the project, with experience working with creative and studio teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validating and triaging creative briefs before they are planned and submitted to the creative resource
  • Operational planning of all briefs utilising Resource Guru, ensuring key deadlines are managed and communicated to all parties
  • Triaging requests to ensure the right skillset is utilised to deliver against project requirements
  • Cybrarian responsibilities for asset management
  • Flawlessly manage all projects through from briefing to final output
  • Support with estimating and commercial controls
  • Support with client comms related to scheduling and brief queries

How to succeed:

  • The Creative Services Traffic Manager must possess strong planning and scheduling skills, employ a firm yet pleasant management style, and have a solid understanding of various workflows and methodologies
  • They must be an exceptional communicator, adept at finding solutions and resolving problems. It is crucial for them to remain sharp and composed under pressure, showing high levels of motivation and a collaborative spirit
  • Their approach should be innovative, placing the client's needs at the forefront, combined with commercial astuteness
  • The Traffic Manager is expected to be highly organised, maintain composure under stress, and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • The Traffic Manager will work in close partnership with the account team day-to-day to monitor client requests and optimise resource plans in reaction to urgent requests

What do you need to show:

  • Expertly validate and triage creative and studio briefs before submission to ensure that only the most suitable creative resources are allocated.
  • Conduct operational planning of all briefs using Resource Guru to maintain a streamlined and efficient workflow. Understanding skills sets required and ascertaining best resource to support delivery.
  • Be responsible for Cybrarian duties, effectively managing the digital asset library, maintaining meticulous organisation and accessibility.
  • Manage projects flawlessly from briefing to final output, demonstrating an unyielding commitment to excellence.
  • Provide support with estimating and commercial control, showcasing a keen commercial understanding and a drive for cost-effectiveness without compromising on creative quality.
  • Exhibit a high degree of independence and autonomy in decision-making, confidently making strategic choices that serve both the creative vision and the project's practical constraints.
  • Serve as a reference point for creative advice, ensuring the highest standards and best practices are upheld throughout the creative process.
  • Take full accountability and ownership of the schedule, proactively and effectively managing project scope and resources.
  • Support and guide the team, ensuring the most appropriate delivery approaches are outlined based on the brief and client requirements.
  • Proactively identify project risks and establish clear mitigation plans and solutions.
  • Act as the voice of reason when project risks escalate or scope changes, ensuring that overall delivery objectives are met while maintaining innovation, timings, and project budgets.
  • Intervene early to keep projects on track, within budget, and done right the first time.
  • Understand the business and functional requirements of all projects and involve the right people at the right time, ensuring a positive and can-do approach throughout.

By demonstrating these capabilities, the Creative Services Traffic Manager will be pivotal in leading the creative team's workload and output, ensuring that creative services are delivered to the highest standard.
