Creative Account Director (Windows and VM focus)

You are responsible for delivering an exceptional, right first time, service to our clients in line with the client's contractual requirements and ITGs own KPI's. Providing both strategic and operational leadership to your teams to deliver customer service excellence. You will actively understand and promote the wider ITG offering to deliver continuous improvement initiatives, develop and grow the account.

What are my responsibilities:

  • Oversee all timings, resource and delivery of Creative Adapt for POS, Stores, Windows, Digital & Templates for business as usual.
  • Manage the end-to-end Windows & VM process & Critical Path for all stores, supporting design with concept design in terms of what is possible and arranging all sampling / mock shops. Ensuring we have technical drawings / cutters etc and supporting with briefing for installation & comms for stores.
  • You will support with forecasting budgets / estimating and work closely with production to make sure final budgets are also in line.
  • Brief design and creative adapt on concepts, sets, and sizes, trafficking packs through all approval stages and ensuring we are meeting the brief, on time and on budget.
  • Work closely with the windows production team to make sure we have correct resource for mock shops and to handover creative for final production once signed off.
  • Line Management of senior account managers managing Creative Adapt projects.
  • Line Management of Marketing Exec team and support for Marketing function.
  • Lead work in progress meetings with key stakeholders including senior clients.
  • Attend and support M&S through seasonal creative briefing and stages of their marketing process.
  • Support with Photography internally via agreed processes and software.
  • Manage all briefs through our ITG Capture Studio team, including scoping, estimates, pre-production, shoots and postproduction.
  • Taking bespoke creative briefs from client and brief wider ITG team, pulling on relevant resource and making sure briefs are complete and correct.
  • Leading wash ups and finding solutions / new processes for pinch points in current ways of working.

What I need to do:

  • You will need to build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders / decision makers to ensure your team fully understands your client's strategy, aims and goals enabling ITG to deliver the best service.
  • Professional adherence to all processes and best practice to ensure every project is produced impeccably, is right first time, every time and is always on-time.
  • Respond to all client requirements within the designated SLA frameworks.
  • Provide account activity status updates to support your Senior AD with the formulisation of meaningful monthly packs to be presented to both the client and to ITG senior team to monitor account performance and client priorities.
  • Contribute towards the management of the accounts P&L and optimisation of the commercial benefits from the customer to ensure maximum profitability whilst remaining within client's commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with your Senior AD on annual budgeting and regular forecasting reports for ITG to monitor account performance.

Requirements

How will I succeed:

  • A partnership approach to working with the client; you must be able to manage their expectations for project delivery - don't be afraid to challenge constructively.
  • Build positive and professional working relationships with your colleagues and internal customers to enable smooth transition of all processes.
  • Educate your account team to obtain accurate information from the customer to formulate full and accurate briefs.
  • Regular 1:1s with your 6 direct reports for general temperature check, project status updates and general wellbeing discussions.
  • Identify any additional training needs for your team to make sure they are always at the forefront of knowledge to inform client and have the tools to perform their roles to the best of their abilities.
  • Understanding print, photography, creative and artwork and the challenges that come with these specialist disciplines.
  • To be able to manage client expectations from the offset.
  • Manage the account financials (invoice appropriately, manage debt, chasing POs)
  • Clear objectives to be set annually as part of the PDR process will help focus on the specific priorities for your account.

What I need to know:

  • A service minded approach with proven customer management skills
  • Experience of creative/art working/photography/VM/print processes
  • Project management & organisational skills - you will be operating in an environment of ever-changing priorities.
  • Good problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of POS within a retail/FMCG/hospitality business
  • Highly numerate and commercially aware
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of excel. We use cloud-based tech platforms to drive our workflows.
