Purpose of the Role

The role of the Commercial Partnerships Executive will be to support the Amplifi Global Trading Team in the execution and delivery of core commercial trading partnerships across our c$130m portfolio. This means providing direct support to the Amplifi Global Trading team on delivery of our 4 strategic pillars: Principal Trading, Retail Media, Dynamo and Product to ensure we drive future-proofed revenue into dentsu. Reporting into the Global Commercial Partnership Director and working closely with all members of the Global Trading Team, the successful candidate will work with the digital technology and media supply chain, as well as key internal stakeholders, with the ultimate aim of future proofing the Amplifi platform and delivering long term value to the dentsu Media business.

The role will also support the development and delivery of the core deal partnerships with the supply side that generate value for our business and clients across multiple markets globally.

The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of the media supply side and in particular, the tech giants. They will show a desire to learn an understanding of deal making and constructing commercial partnerships with media suppliers and the delivery of these partnerships across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Partnerships Executive has a responsibility to support the Global Trading team in working with key global supply-side partners and markets to understand their challenges and establish common goals in driving increased value for all.

This will include:

  • Partnering in the design of key global frameworks and strategic partnerships that drive revenue through our 4 strategic pillars: Principal Trading, Retail Media, Dynamo and Product.
  • Support Trading team from ideation to full reconciliation of trading deals, including delivery of partnerships in local markets.
  • Work as core conduit into Sales Enablement team to support in developing guidance to markets on partnership benefits and to educate them on their deliverables.
  • Analysis of market nuances to closely track local trading mechanics, future trends and new supplier opportunities.
  • Work alongside other Global Trading Executive to manage investment tracking, taking investment insights and building deeper understanding of why investment is growing or declining from a macro perspective across clients and markets.
  • Support on client and new business requests.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience in a media agency environment with some knowledge of planning / buying principles and trading mechanics
  • Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of coordinating multiple functions would be beneficial
  • Strong collaboration & relationship skills to work across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to implement, run and improve processes and procedures to maximise efficiency in delivery
