Business Manager - Products & Sectors
Service Line: Property Management
Location: Hybrid (flexible/national)
Reporting to Head of Products & Sectors
We are recruiting a Business Manager (12 months FTC) to join the Products & Sectors teams. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high level support to the Head of Products & Sectors to enable them to seek and pursue growth opportunities. This role requires someone who can work under pressure and is confident and experienced in dealing with staff at a senior level based across multiple countries/regions within the business.
Responsibilities:
Support to Head of Products & Sectors:
- Support in a fast paced/high growth environment
- Understand changing priorities and be able to act quickly and efficiently
- Proactive inbox/diary management
- Arranging travel and undergoing correct process to do so
- Expense management
- Coordinate all meeting scheduling
- Assist with the creation, review & tracking of yearly Business Plans
- Support Head of Products & Sectors & wider team in the delivery of yearly budgets
- Support Head of Products & Sectors in the preparation and presentation of monthly fees and targets with the finance team
- Ownership of the Products Tracker, ensuring accuracy by holding monthly meetings with Products leads to ensure responsibility
- Ownership of CIQ data entry, accuracy & reporting for Products Leads
- Creation and refinement of Powerpoint presentations for shareholder meetings/townhalls
- Managing client invoicing for Design for Management team
- Support in securing payment dates from clients
- Liaising with surveyors to ensure debt is being actively managed
- Support to Products Leads with processes & correct ways of working. To include but not limited to: Contract billing, K2, AML processes, onboarding new starters, recruitment, Conflicts of interest, CBRE policies, contracts check lists.
- Project manage and responsible to tracking progress of team initiatives and projects.
- Coordinate and track Sector lead team across engagement, meetings and outcomes and leads working with Head of Products and Sectors.
- Coding invoices via MyBuy/Coupa
- Arranging team days, content, presentations, activities etc
- Organise, run & manage monthly Products meetings, responsible for agenda, timings, actions & inputs of the wider business updates
- Supporting Head of Products & Sectors in securing signed legal documents from Clients & supporting with obtaining client agreements/documents from CBRE Legal
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experience of a similar role, in a fast-paced, client facing environment essential.
- Confidential approach and discrete. Must be able to influence others, and engender confidence in senior managers through both face-to-face, telephone and written communication.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills enabling the individual to work with staff of all levels and abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and work under pressure against rapidly changing demands and priorities.
- Strong organisational skills- must be detail conscious, accurate and methodical in approach.
- Able to work systematically and use own initiative.
- Very proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Experience of using Project Management tools such as Monday.com and CRM software Salesforce (beneficial but not essential).
