About You

  • A proven sales professional with a history of exceeding targets selling industrial machinery and engineering solutions into the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer products sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the process involved selling complex technical solutions into these markets and their unique challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying and winning new business opportunities.
  • A self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships across the UK with both potential and existing clients.
  • Identify and assess customer needs and then present solutions from our range of products and services, including sales of packaging machinery, conveyor systems and engineering services.
  • Contribute to the company's overall growth strategy.

You'll Thrive If You Have

  • At least 3 years of experience selling industrial packaging machinery.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively representing Packserve's value proposition.
  • An engineering background with a passion for selling complex engineering solutions into the food, beverage and FMCG sector.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and effective time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and potentially internationally.

Competitive Compensation Package

  • Basic Salary: £45,000-£55,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience)

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
