Asset Data and Surveying Manager

We have a brand new and exciting opportunity to join our asset team as an Asset Data and Surveying Manager! You will be responsible for proactively managing our asset management system database and our surveying function. Analysing data, maintain accurate and up to date information and be a figure head in the organisation to ensure the proactive asset management is used across decision making processes. You'll be responsible for the Asset Surveying team who cover areas such as Disrepair, Insurance Works, Structural Works and Building Fabric Surveys. You'll also be responsible for the stock condition programme, HHSRS management as well as EPC surveys.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Requirements
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
- Provide a comprehensive compliance regime for all assets with regards to stock condition, Decent Homes and Housing Health and Safety Rating System
- Take responsibility for the data integrity within the asset management system (Keystone to Asprey)
- Lead and be involved in asset data projects
- Proactively review data in our asset management system from several work streams such as planned improvement, repairs and surveying
- Regularly refresh asset viability assessments and provide reports, case studies and proposals to the Leadership team, where required
- Carry out statistical analysis and produce reports for; Decent Homes Compliance, SAP rating of our stock, prepare 30 year repair cost forecasts for business planning purposes, prepare detailed 30 year cost forecasts for our entire stock
- Complete proactive asset appraisals on our homes to ensure we invest in our homes and dispose of non-viable homes/assets
We are looking for someone who has...
- Experience working in an information or data management environment or similar
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and provide reporting output in easily understandable formats
- Experience of producing comprehensive written reports and of reporting statistical data, analysis, and data visualisations
- Experience of undertaking housing stock appraisals
- Experience in managing Disrepair cases
- Experience of managing a team of technical roles
- Working knowledge of business intelligence and analytical platforms, such as Microsoft Power BI, Business Objects
- Experience working in a housing or asset management environment
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
